Québec, July 15, 2021 – The Chief Scientist of Québec and the Directorate of Societal Challenges and Intersectoral Networks are please to announce a new call for bilateral projects in the framework of the AUDACE program. In May 2020, the Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) with the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to design a Québec-Luxembourg AUDACE program. Convinced that an intersectoral approach will open up novel research perspectives and in the will to foster cross-border collaboration between the scientific communities of Québec and Luxembourg, the FRQ and FNR decided to continue this bilateral research initiative aligned to the objectives of the FRQ AUDACE program. This program will support intersectoral innovative projects with the potential to radically transform research and creation.
With the continuation of this bilateral program, the FRQ and FNR intend to offer researchers from Québec and Luxembourg favourable conditions for initiating projects with a high level of risk but with the potential for high impacts, be they scientific, social, economic, technological, cultural, aesthetic, etc. The 2022-2023 edition is the second annual competition out of the three planned.
This second call for proposals of the international Québec-Luxembourg AUDACE program is now on-line. We invite Québec and Luxembourg scientific communities to apply in great number. A webinar is also scheduled on August 24 at 9 AM (3 PM in Luxembourg) to present the objectives and rules of the competition. Please click on this link to register.
