TEL AVIV, March 9, 2022 – Yesterday, the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) and the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (MOST) of the State of Israel signed a partnership agreement to support joint research projects in artificial intelligence and health care. The framework follows a 2016 agreement on bioimaging that led to three joint research projects.

The new three-year partnership aims to develop a program focused on artificial intelligence and health care to support innovative international projects involving researchers from Israel and Québec. Information on the upcoming call for proposals will be released later.

With over $20M in funding from the Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation du Québec, the Fonds de recherche du Québec have already begun recruiting experts with combined expertise in health and artificial intelligence.
